WARNING: the foot of this page contains disturbing images.

The CCP’s history is filled with bloodshed and deceit, leading to the unnatural deaths of over 80 million Chinese people wMaoithin the past 57 years (a number greater than the total casualties for World Wars I & II). The CCP founder, Chairman Mao Zedong, advocated the use of violent political campaigns every 7 or 8 years, to ensure the long-standing strength and stability of communist control in China. During the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976), 7-8 million people lost their lives. Killing became a way to prove one’s “revolutionary” status, resulting in the taking of lives within ones own family unit. The outside world was blind to the atrocities until “... corpses, many without heads, began floating down the Pearl River into Hong Kong.” Kenneth Lieberthal (China scholar).

1989 is the yeTanks in Tiananmen Squarear that most vividly remains in the minds of most people. 600-3000 students (depending on the source) lost their lives when the People's Liberation Army opened fire on protestors for civil liberties in Tiananmen Square. The picture of a lone student standing up to a row of tanks, now well known in the west, is an image that viewers of China’s state controlled media have never seen.

The Persecution of Falun Dafa

Poster

Ten years after the Tiananmen Square massacre, the then head of the CCP, Jiang Zemin (currently facing charges of genocide from around the world), began his attempted systematic eradication Falun Dafa.

Jiang personally directed the persecution by issuing the following three orders:

  • “Physically destroy them.” Thousands of practitioners have died from torture methods such as being shocked with electric batons, force feeding with human excrement, rape, and injection with nerve damaging drugs, to name a few of over 100 documented.
  • “Ruin their reputations.” Jiang used the state run media to initiate a propaganda campaign, staging incidents such as the 2001 Self Immolation in Tiananmen Square where several people set themselves on fire, claiming that they were Falun Dafa practitioners (this has subsequently been proven to be a fallacy). The aim was to turn the public against those who practise Falun Dafa, a tactic used by Hitler and Mao.
  • “Financially bankrupt them.” Practitioners are deprived of living resources, including savings, salaries, pensions and possessions. Many have had their businesses, homes or jobs unlawfully taken away from them. Others have even been forced out of university and even primary education.

Since the former leader of China, Jiang Zemin, began the persecution of Falun Gong (or Falun Dafa) practitioners in 1999:
100 million people practiced Falun Gong in 1998, but lost that right when Jiang banned it in 1999.
Millions of Falun Gong practitioners have been illegally arrested, detained and/or abused by Chinese police.
Between 200,000 and 1 million have been illegally sent to forced labor camps without trials.
Human rights workers have documented over 38,000 specific cases of torture or severe abuse.
More than 1,000 healthy individuals have been incarcerated in mental hospitals and tortured there, an act condemned by the World Psychiatric Association.
More than 500 have been sentenced to prison terms of up to 18 years.
At least 3074 deaths through police abuse and torture have been confirmed, with government sources inside China indicating that the actual number could be has high as 7,000 or more.

All of this is a result of people just wanting to meditate and study the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion & Tolerance.
