As individuals, we have been fortunate enough to live and work all over the world, including Hong Kong (now a Special Administrative Region of China).

As practitioners of Falun Dafa, some of us have been studying since 1999 (prior to the persecution).

As a team we have been working on this project since the winter of 2005. It all started with the, admittedly extreme, idea of partaking in the notorious Tough Guy competition in the bitter winter of January 2006. Our intention was to make the artistic statement of “What is Tough?”, to put into perspective the suffering of those people who are tortured to death for following the same teachings that we do.
